NOTES REGARDING THE MARCH PRIMARY ELECTIONS:
1. The nature of the primary election is such that its purpose is to allow the People to determine the future of the Republican Party. As such, it would not be appropriate for the Party as a whole to advise a Voter Guide for primary elections.
Please contact your Precinct Chair for candid advice on Primary Candidates.
2. The future of the Republican Party should be determined by Republicans. Please contact the Texas Secretary of State and the Governor's Office to make your voice heard, telling them to PERMIT CLOSED PARTY PRIMARIES.
For more information on Democrats crossing over during primary elections to influence their Republican opponent in the November election, contact your Republican Precinct Chair.
3. Just remember our HCRP Communications Committee's motto:
"REPUBLICANS DO REPUBLICAN THINGS"
Check the candidates for their adherence to the Conservative Ideal and to our guiding principles, including:

- Small and Limited Government at all levels: Federal, State and Local
- Free-Market Capitalism unencumbered by government regulation
- Low Taxes and a propensity to avoid hikes, levies, bonds, in general
- Fiscal Responsibility and Accountability in the execution of [small] government
- Individual Liberty with minimum government intervention
- Traditional Judeo-Christian Family Values
